“My entire family is muslim…After I accepted Jesus, all my family kicked me out… My father had a funeral for me… He kicked my four teeth out because I converted from muslim to Christianity…and because I said Jesus is the Son of God, Jesus is alive, Jesus is the light...” These are some of the words you can hear in this unbelievable video above as Abdela Wakeyo shares how he converted from Islam to Christianity through a miraculous encounter with Jesus!

We got to know Abdela in Atlanta at the Sent 6:7 training we hosted at the Kale Heywet (Word of Life) Ethiopian church (May 19-21).

We have been working with the Kale Heywet denomination for a few years now and hosted several Sent 6:7 evangelism and multiplication training for their pastors, church leaders and planters in Orlando, Columbus, DC, Minneapolis and now in Atlanta. They are always committed and passionate to apply what they learn and boldly share the good news of Jesus Christ.
