Moments from across the U.S.

Moment #1: Stacy Reeder from Kansas City, MO

In this 90 seconds video Stacy shares how the Sent 6:7 - Becoming a CoJourner training has helped her to start sharing the gospel among her friends and neighbors. In the past years over 37,000 believers went through similar trainings all over the U.S. and many of them put into practice what they’ve learned.

Moment #2: Roberto Vidal and Shawn O’Neil from Fort Lauderdale, FL

After Pastor Shawn O’Neil came to our “Sent 6:7 - Becoming a CoJourner” evangelism training we’ve hosted at the Exponential conference in 2020, we’ve built a lasting partnership. Since that partnership we’ve trained over 500 members of his congregation and they’ve planted two new churches and they see 20-30 baptisms every quarter.

In his own words he describes the outcome of this partnership the following way:

“As I interacted with David, Gabor, and Amy, I felt a resonance with their vision and their heart for reaching people in a relational way. Their experience and wisdom were invaluable, and I knew that this encounter was a divine appointment. Little did I know that this newfound understanding of evangelism would permeate the next phase of my ministry journey… I started our peer coaching circle with six directors…They got the vision and Lord willing each of them will have their own peer coaching circles with the ‘Lyfe’ mission coordinators starting in February. Through the six we are going to potentially mobilize 75 people. Those 75 people will have influence over 600 which is approximately 75 groups.”

Roberto Vidal, a lay minister at Shawn’s church wrote this:

This is for those who wish to reach their full potential as a Jesus follower, who has the courage to change their life, who look to build a healthy and trustworthy process for making disciples in a contemporary society. It challenges our status quo.”

Moment #3: Zak and Becky Alwin; Wisconsin Dells

“We just hosted a Christmas event for 275 international students; with 3 youth and young adult teams of 40 volunteers mobilized to engage in conversation. In photo  I am {Becky Alwin} addressing the audience, inviting them to share their prayer requests. Over 30 students indicated they wanted to know how to have a relationship with Jesus and get connected to a faith community. Follow up continues with an evangelistic type Sent 6:7 Pursue group we have in our home on Wednesday nights with 12 students.”
